Four Elms is spacious rural 3-bedroom cottage with wood burner and enclosed rear garden that is nestled near Yarcombe in the Blackdown Hills, offering direct access to scenic public footpaths right on your doorstep.

Upstairs, you’ll find three beautiful bedrooms, a master king-size, a double, and a third with bunk beds, ideal for families or groups. The first-floor family shower room boasts a spacious shower cubicle, balancing convenience with comfort. Outside, the enclosed split-level garden offers a peaceful retreat with a lawn, patio, and garden furniture, perfect for soaking up the fresh air.

Just beyond your doorstep, a quiet footpath leads you directly onto a network of publicfootpaths and bridleways, inviting you to explore the stunning Blackdown Hills countryside. These scenic routes wind through rolling hills and open fields, offering endless opportunities for walking, cycling and exploring. A short stroll brings you into Yarcombe village itself, where The Yarcombe Inn, a traditional country pub, welcomes visitors with hearty meals and a friendly atmosphere. Also close by is Honiton, a charming market town in East Devon, England, known for its historic lace-making heritage, elegant Georgian architecture, and its bustling High Street lined with antique shops and local cafés nestled amid the rolling Devon countryside.

The Blackdown Hills provide a rural haven, rich with natural beauty and peaceful views, making this cottage the ideal base for a getaway filled with relaxation, exploration, and the simple joys of country living. For those looking to explore the sea, the Jurassic Coast at Lyme Regis is just a 30-minute drive away, offering breathtaking coastal views, fossil hunting, and seaside charm.

A welcoming cottage nestling in a quiet hamlet close to Yarcombe in the Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in East Devon. Surrounded by countryside yet conveniently situated for the Jurassic coast, the beaches of Charmouth, Lyme Regis, Sidmouth and Exmouth. The Cathedral City of Exeter, home of Exeter Chiefs, the Somerset county town of Taunton, with the Somerset County Cricket ground and the market town of Honiton all within easy reach.

Once a cider barn, now a self contained cottage ideal for two people and with a small room which could be used for a young infant or as a study for those wishing to combine a little bit of work with a relaxing countryside holiday.

The main bedroom has a four poster bed and a triple aspect, with adjacent bathroom with bath and shower.  The lounge has a double aspect, a log burner, TV, understairs storage cupboard and direct access to a rear patio garden. The modern kitchen is well fitted out with floor and wall units washing machine, fridge, dishwasher, oven, hob, extractor and microwave. There is a south facing patio at the front and two steps lead up to an entrance porch. At the rear there is a private garden patio area. There is off road parking by the cottage for two cars.

For those wishing to explore the more rural country roads, there are plenty of attractive villages, pubs, and interesting places to visit and country walks to enjoy. Trout fishing is available in Yarcombe. Further afield, in about an hour you can be on Dartmoor or Exmoor.

Normally let on a weekly basis with a Friday change over, three day breaks are also available.

No pets and no smoking in the cottage.
